This is what we did the last day of class: 

First, we worked on the GRAMMAR section on page 174. Clauses of reason, purpose, result and concession. 

We didn't work on the READING COMPREHENSION task on pages 176 and 177 but if you want to do that at home you will find the KEY to the exercise by scrolling down this page.

Then, we moved on to pages 178 and 179. VOCABULARY, and there, we completed exercise E.

After that, we did the speakings about money on pages 180 and 181 in the book. 

Then, we completed a LISTENING COMPREHENSION  task on a photocopy given in class on TIME MANAGEMENT. Sentence completion. page 55.

Then, we worked on the REVIEW section on pages 167 and 168. Like this we can consider Unit 9 finished.

Today we started Unit 9. The power of design.

First. we answered some questions appearing on page 151. Cover page.

Then, we worked on the READING section on pages 152 and 153.

After that, we worked on a mini lesson on Causatives: Have and Get. 

We also completed the multiple-choice cloze exercise on the back of the handouts.

This is what we did in class: 

First, we worked on the REVIEW section of Unit 8. pages 149 and 150. A, B and C. (Like this, we can say that we have finished Unit 8).

Then, we worked on a handout given in class: we worked on a mini lesson on Embedded Questions.

After that we worked on a vocabulary photocopy about Illness and Feeling under the weather.

To finish, we completed the  Written Mediation task corresponding to April.

This is pretty much all we did in class: 

First, we worked on the reading comprehension section on pages 140 and 141. UNCOVERING LOST CIVILISATIONS.

Then we moved on to the next section VOCABULARY pages 141, 142 and 143. There,  we worked on exercises E and G.

 We also worked on 2 GRAMMAR exercises on page 143.

After that, 

We heard two listening comprehension tasks from a photocopy given in class containing 2 sides.

To finish, we did some speaking from page 145.

 Hi, 

This is what we did in class: 

First, we worked on the VOCABULARY section of Unit 8. pages 136, 137 and 138.

Then, we moved to page 144 and had a discussion on how some inventions changed the world.

After that, we completed the GRAMMAR section on pages 138 and 139. Modal Verbs.

After that, we completed the listening on page 139. This listening is about a photographer who uses a wingsuit and talks about his last project, photographing Lake Eyre (The pink lake) from above using his wingsuit.

Then, we moved on to the Writing Section on pages 110,111 and 112. Writing: An Opinion Essay.

To finish, and, as promised, we did another written mediation task. The one corresponding to February.

 Hello and welcome back to school after the Carnival break: 

This is what we did in class: 

First, we worked on page 107 of the book. Mixed conditionals and alternatives to if.

Then,  we carried out a listening comprehension exercise.

We also completed the word-formation exercise on the back of the photocopy.

After that we completed a handout given in class about Vocabulary on fashion and trends.

Then, we went back to the book to pages 108 and 109 to listen to a model conversation on Speaking exercise B.
